Construction and Materials
The body, slide, and battery housing of the enlarged SF-type stock, as well as the pistol grip, are manufactured from nylon fiber-reinforced polymer. Other components, such as the barrel, RIS front, flame suppressor, enlarged reloading handle, and tactical sling assembly, are made of metal. All screws, pins, the shell ejection window, and the dummy lock are made of steel. Markings and serial numbers are applied on the barrel.
The rifle is very well-fitted, ensuring no play between the lower and upper parts of the body. The use of a lightweight polymer body reduces weight, making it ideal for dynamic games or long milsims. The fiberglass reinforcement also makes the body more durable than standard polymer and metal bodies.
Quick Spring Change System (ESA)
The replica uses the quick spring change system, ESA. This allows for quick and efficient adjustment of the replica's power to the conditions expected on the field without needing access to a workshop or specialized tools. Simply unscrew the stock guide to access and change the spring without disassembling the gearbox.
The advantages of the ESA system are significant. It guarantees the user considerable possibilities and freedom. The ESA system allows minimal time to replace the mainspring, adapting the replica's discharge velocity to the area of play, ensuring an ideal compromise between fire effectiveness and safety.
Internal Components
The gearbox features 8-millimeter slide bearings and supported steel gears. The system is secured by four anti-reverse pawls. The lightweight polycarbonate polymer piston is fitted with a full steel bar, increasing its strength. It also uses a type 0 cylinder and steel cut-off lever, as well as a precision rotary hop-up chamber. The strength of the parts allows it to work with M140 springs.
