The bag serves to minimise the consequences associated with a failure (e.g. short circuit or puncture) of the LiPo battery. However, it does not guarantee 100% protection against the consequences of failure. Therefore, it is most important to follow all safety rules related to the handling of LiPo packs. In the event of a burning battery pack, it is the bag's job to minimise the amount of air around it and ultimately smother the fire.

Never leave a charging LiPo battery pack unattended and never leave a battery pack (even in this protective bag) on a flammable surface. Always ensure that the protective bag is firmly closed when the battery pack is inside.
